Richlin and George Glen Manor, Portsmouth RI

Here is a sweet July wedding we did at the Glen Manor in Portsmouth, RI. The traditional charm of the french chateau was a perfect backdrop for such an elegant celebration. Photos are courtesy of Armor and Martel.

Down the aisle, we used gold pails hung with soft pink ribbon, filled with seasonal flowers in shades of ivory, pink, and soft green. Richlin carried a gorgeous brooch bouquet that she designed herself, and George matched her with a cool, brooch boutonniere.

Inside, we continued to play with the soft palette using flowers like garden roses, lisianthus, hydrangea, ranunculus, and peonies. The flowers were charmingly set in hat boxes chosen by Richlin.

We stepped up the elegance with some dramatic, tall  centerpieces with dripping crystals and full blooms. Those pink roses look gorgeous.

One of our favorite things that Richlin and George requested was unique wishing tree of gold manzanita branches and a lush base for friends and family to leave their thoughts on, instead of a sign-in book.

Here it is, getting filled with warm thoughts and wishes. What a great idea!

Thanks so much for including us in your big day! Wishing you two the very best!
