I'm so thrilled to post my dear friend Becky's wedding! Edgy, fun and a little outside
the box!  Images courtesy of Blueflash Photography
Bridal bouquet in plum, purple, black and fuchsia consisting of calla lilies, dahlias,
ranunculus, sweet pea, lisianthus, stock and trachelium.
Boutonnieres of stock blossom, hypericum berry and lisanthus bud.

Ceremony and reception were held at the Roger Williams Casino in Providence.

I was honored to be a bridesmaid!
She had two different designs for her centerpieces. This style had three different sized Monet candlesticks and three black julep vases with viburnum, lisianthus, ranunculus, carnations (yes I said it!) and stock.
The second design: Manzanita branches, spider mums, green trick, lisianthus, viburnum, calla lilies, dahlias and a few other fun accents.

Congratulations to you both! xoxo

one classic summer wedding

Here is a timeless wedding we did back in August. These flowers are a classic summer assortment.

The bride's bouquet had lovely pops of color to contrast her classic white dress.

Her attendants had lovely mixes of fresh, local zinnias, full, bright roses and hydrangeas which were the perfect accent to their jewel blue dresses. We love a good contrast!

The groom had a simple boutonniere with spray roses and hypericum berries...

...he complimented his blushing bride oh so well.

We just loved this zinnias bursting from the green hydrangea backdrop.

The bride made a lovely choice in deciding to use bright pops of color for this venue.

The Ledgemont Country Club was a lovely blank canvass for this colorful August wedding.

Congratulations Beth and Nate. Thank you ever so much for working with us!

the crisp tones of autumn

On this crisp autumn day we got to reminiscing about this gorgeous wedding we designed last autumn. We love these shades of crimson with pops of orange and gold.
Here comes the bride. . .

Who says you can't wear white in autumn? Brides can break all the rules. This subtle hue really allows the hypericum berries to pop and it matches the interior of St. Elizabeth's Church in Bristol, RI so well.

The newly married couple!

We love the groom's boutonniere, single white rose, eucalyputus leaves and seeds with hypericum berries, the perfect accent for the bride's bouquet.

We can't gush enough over how lovely these bouquets are against these sweet chocolate dresses. Greens, golds, rusts and just a little deep pink were the right accents for this autumn event.

Dahlias, roses, celosia, safflower and hydrangeas made for lovely centerpieces at the Kirkbrae Country Club in Lincoln, RI.

It is always so exciting to see our  flowers as the main attraction at a venue, they look amazing against these deep toned linens and gold accents.

And the cake! Sweet and simple with autumn hues.

Thank you for working with us, Stephanie and Kevin. We hope your first year of marriage was just as happy as your wedding day.

no plants were harmed in this charming wedding

Krista and Adam celebrated their wedding day by treading lightly on the earth. From air plants, to succulents, to vegan goodies, they covered it all.
Colt State Park made for a lovely ceremony venue
This air plant bouquet isn't only striking but can be a common house plant once wedding day is over. This gives a new meaning to "preserving" your wedding flowers.
The whole theme came together so well and made for one happy couple.
This succulent boutonniere can be replanted, another great way to hold on to those wedding memories.
Moss, branches and succulents can all be reused, potted and appreciated for years to come.
We not only love the ideals Krista and Adam chose to carry over into their wedding day, but we think it made for a lovely  decor and was just right for the venue.

Thank you, Krista and Adam. May you live happily ever after.
