A simple flower order.......

We do a lot of business with our neighbor Brown University so when a single floral arrangement was ordered we thought nothing of it until we realized what it was for. It was for the interview with Davis Guggenheim, an award winning filmmaker and director who was a guest at Brown for the advanced screening of his documentary "He named me Malala", about the 17 year old Pakistani girl who won the Nobel Peace prize for her work advocating women's education in Pakistan.

The following day we had the pleasure of meeting Mr Guggenheim himself and his beautiful wife Elizabeth Shue who stopped by the studio for an arrangement. We happily add them to our customer wall of fame!

                                    Jessie and Ben

Lush, nautical wedding at 41 North In Newport, Rhode Island

Aisle arrangements in shades of white, orange & fuchsia. Using peonies, stock and gloriosa lilies arranged in a cute silver tin with a nautical ribbon.

The brides lush, textural bouquet in white and green tones with a pop of hot pink. We used lisianthus, hypericum berries, stock, orchids, ranunculus and celosia.

Half of the centerpieces were designed in a low cylinder glass with lush flowers such as, stock, peonies, spray roses and hypericum berries with a nautical ribbon tied around the center.

The other half of the centerpieces were flowers submerged in different sized cylinder vases. Each showcasing a different vibrant flower.

The day was beautiful. The vibrant nautical theme fit the venue perfectly.  41 North is one of our favorite venues in Newport we can't wait to revisit soon.
